It was the last round for this series so it's a strip down and tidy up for targa SW. Good time to give you all the borrowed bits back and buy my own.

saw one of those as a V12 doing donuts in a car park in my long since past youth. didnt take long to spit coolant but it kept going and going. then STOPPED..didnt go bang just stopped...Kids dad apparently wasnt happy with him for some reason. still like the shape

Suprisingly weight is not a factor on the salt. The jag is 2.5t and the hyabusas had slabs of lead on the swingarm.
I suppose wings = drag, and slower speed. So rip off the wings and fill it with ballast.
Plenty of cars were spinning wheels in the salt at big speeds. But the salt is hard enough to leave black burnout marks on it. Shows how thick air gets I suppose.

If you lot are looking for an excuse to catch up, there is a big day at the 'plex happening on Sunday. It's the Targa 'ave a run morning and a full field 80 car daytime rallysprint in the arvo.

Rally rides start at 9.30 for the Targa West thing. The rallysprint starts at about 1.30.
I looked at the start list last night. The most amazing group of go fast machinery will be there. Perth amateur motorsport is alive an well.

Don't know if anyone managed to get down there yesterday.......... What a fucking cracker of a day!!! Best day of Motorsport this year. Highlight was Alistair McRae in his MkII showing everyone how it's done.
