4G Starter Motor compatibility

Hey guys,

the starter on my 96 CE MR 1.8L Auto lancer died and I'm after a replacement
Starter model ID: MD301348

problem is I can't find one matching that model but there is plenty 1.5L CE ones for sale.
Is there any difference between them?

This part site seems to indicate the 92-02 are the same but just looking to confirm

Update: Picked up a 1.5L starter from the wreckers and it works, for anyone in the same situation this may help.
Mounting plate bolts and teeth were identical, backend of the starter slightly smaller in size but the front cone is the same.

Dont really need to buy 2nd hand TBH.

Brand new one from autobahn with 12 month warranty was $140
