Hmmm..It all comes down to cost, time and effort.
I dont believe you will like the cost and effort involved to do the conversion just to have the manual box.(or vice versa)

Pedals, shifter mechanisms, master and slave cylinders, hydraulic lines, wiring and reverse switch, different driveshafts? (or vice versa Auto/man, Man/Auto conversion.)

Cheaper and easier to just find a box for the right car for a once off cost $$$ Rather to just save money because you found a cheaper box of another kind.

If you have the desire to change, be prepared to do the work!

sorry didnt make myself clear i'll think about it this time...
i have a manual 4g15 and i found a 4g15 auto that only has around 40,000 on the motor but the car rolled and is a right off byt i can get the whole car for probly 300 so im trying to find if i can take the motor out of the right off and put it into mine with my manual gearbox

Well thats different.

Have a look at all the differences in the engine.

Do they have the same number of bolt holes to mount the gearboz? Id say so.

I reckon the ony difference would be the flywheel for the auto. If you can put on the flywheel and other driveline off yours id say go for it.

I dont know much about the 1.5L engine....

should be fine, just check if its a EFI auto and if yours is a carby manual because I think from memory the crossmembers on the carby mount to the gearbox and the efi mount to the engine but If you are getting the whole car its easy to fix as you just use the correct crossmembers.

there is some difference between the ca auto and cb auto. not sure what it is sorry, but been told there is a diff.
