4g93 SOHC engine for sale

As above, came out of running car (lancer sedan). Has no leaks, happy to do leak down test upon inspection. Also have clutch, wiring loom and ecu for it if required. Pretty relaxed about price, just need it gone from the workshop floor so llet me know if you need it.

For the sake of putting a price up I'll take 200 for it complete.
Not sure what it's worth so feel free to make an offer

Id let them go for about 330-440 at work. Covers overheads, 3 month warranty etc etc so 200 private is a good price. CC and CE are different sides of bay, that looks like a CC style?

Hi mate, I may still have the gearbox, motor and ecu/loom available, just waiting on some people to confirm whether or not they'll buy the package or parts of it. You'd need to check k frame and gearbox cross member fitment options- have a look at any posts where guys have put the 4g93t/4g63 in fwd form into the jumbuck and that should give you an idea of what's involved

Its a big job for someone with basic skills.
A na g63 is probably easier as no need to reroute altenator wiring.
Or the na 1.8 proton engine (gti, or i think wira had a 1.8)

Is Jumbuck alternator at rear or front?

Rear jamo. The 4g15 is based on a g63. Whereas the 93 is different.
But i have no idea if cranks etc swap over.
The g15(p) runs the dual water pump pulleys like a 63 also. I think it runs no balance shafts.
The g15 siemens motors also have a crank trigger and chopper wheel mounted on the balancer. But the mounts are cast into the front cover and no idea if the cover changes over.
This is only from memory, been a long time since i had a g15 on the floor

Sounds like I may have been too ambitious considering an engine swap.

I know extractors, new cat and exhaust isn't best bang for buck for a 1.5 Jumbuck, do you think it would make a noticeable improvement in the low to mid rev range (I know its not "good value" though)?
