4g93 sohc main and head arp bolts and studs?

Hi guys. I was wondering if you knew what part # are the arp bolts than can be used in a 4g93 sohc engine for the main and the head. I was told the mr2 3sgte dohc main and head ones would fit. but I want to make sure before I start buying all this stuff. BTW: I'm making my car turbo. its a 98 mirage coupe. any advice will be greatly apreciated

Hi and welcome, I have the Toyota studs in mine, but mine is twincam and cc lancer based. I think yours is ce lancer and the engine is on the other side.
I think you would have a better base engine to turbo by at least changing to a mivec twin cam version of your engine.

the dohc and sohc are the same in every way except for the seals in the top end.

I'm staying with the sohc head, it's amazing how much power that head can produce with the right tune and parts,
I just did not find anywhere in the internet the arp studs for the head and the main, I read somewhere the head studs where the same as the toyota 3sgte dohc ones which are these

So I did some research and with local help found out the head ones are correct, but dont know if the main ones are, any one know if they are?

I would think from the head gasket down would be the same in every way, but I would think from the head gasket up, they would be pretty different, also I imagine the timing belt arrangement would be pretty different...

Anyway, with my 1.8, I pretty sure I had to trim the length down a bit, I also got the 12 point nuts for clearance.
