I was shopping for bearings and some other stuff today at a place called Nason Parts.

while i was there I found out you can buy a brand new bare head.....for 335.00 plus gst trade.

though people that have stuffed ones may want this info in the future as anything for a 93 is getting pretty old now. I have two heads but both have corrosion and are on their last legs..with the wiseco pistons already at 9:1 face head and the mls head gasket will see that raise a bit so I will probably get one of these.

there is a nasons in melbourne, head office actually, in dandenong south.

I would check they didnt stuff that up and say head when it was a vrs set or something.

dont forget the head is bare....no valves or stems seals etc

service was a mechine, shimming of the valve springs, new valve seals total $330. coulda got the mechanic to exchange the parts wanted
