I have a 4G93T engine in my Mitsubishi Colt car. Now I've changed the stock turbo for a E3 TD05 with custom oil-line, evo injectors, evo AFM. (Already had a EVO TB) I also run a evo 2 ecu. I also did a cam belt job in the meantime.
Now above 1400 rpm or so the car runs smooth, it also flies through the revs on the road but when running stationary and below 1400rpm it runs rather rough. It's a bit shaky, it didn't use to run like that.
The problem in cases like this is that there are multiple variables that changed. I was thinking maybe it's down to a vacuum leak. I didn't find any, but I will investigate further tonight. What else could it be?
Should a 4G93T with evo bolt ons run silky smooth at once or does the lack of displacement interrupt something? I suppose it shouldn't matter since the MAF sensor should just read less air coming in, so it would be the same as running a stock EVO a few thousand meters above sea level right?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
