Rob, cdis are simply triggered via a positive edge or negative fall sig, no dwell setting at all. No r plugs either. Thee only thing I can think off is heat soak into the coils. The very first run I performed did not miss at all with the 1mm gap. It was the runs afterwards.
I'm gonna try and either mount it else where or try to reduce engine bay temps.
