Errol is supposed to be magical with tuning.
Running a microtech will never yield you great results. It's a mediocre ecu.
Your timing would have been retarded for a reason.
Tuning is not always about power and torque, sometimes you need to consider reliability. Anyone can tune for max power/torque, just keep adding fuel/boost and you're there. How's your powerband look? Does it peak like mt everest?

na thats just the thing i never got much power from errols tuning or reliability maztech are the ones that import the microtech system so they get into the matrix or watever and they can get it spot on the power im gettin at the moment is pretty gradual for turbo it really hits at 2.8 3000prm and ends at 7.5 7.8 i got erol to tune it and it was always breakin down and shittin me up the wall not idleing then jumpy idle missing and then it ran to lean but yea each to his own at least its runningsmooth and realiable and good now

Yeah thats my car, I got him to look at a tune I had done to see if he could improve on it, he couldnt. Turns out the problem was my fuel injectors being shit so I replaced them and got it tuned by the guy that tunes for AFAS.

i remember meeting up with him and driving down to an exhaust place to get his exhaust fixed...

he supposably ran 12.9 or something with that car..
anyway, i heard that after you bought the car you killed the motor by boosting the crap out of it.. (from sroy)
and errol told me that you bought an evo motor and bolted everything up yourself (or tried to)
and something about you bolting up a 1g vr4 manifold to a 2g evo head (different port sizes) and thats why it leaned out and the motor died when u gave it to errol...
but he did rebuild your motor/supply you pistons / parts etc and you did a runner???.. thats what he told me anyway... but from my experience with errol, he's a good tuner.. he knows what he is doing, he's tuned plenty of 4g's from evo auto (darren) and i also let him tune my mates s14 which made 180 kw's at the rear wheels (stock turbo, few bolt ons)...
and with dre's car, there was a problem with the injectors.. darren had the same issue..
so hows the car running now mate?

btw, on ebay, you say you have front / rear lsd...
unless you put them in yourself, i dont think it does
sroy never changed those and vr4's dont come out with them stock (aus specs)
if u've got an evo motor, you'll still be using the 3.5 gearbox therefor still no lsd (u might have got an lsd with the evo box)
but to use the evo box, you would have needed the 4bolt rear..
just thought i might let ya know, could be misleading...

well what actully happend was i i bought the car from sroy i had never owned a turbo jap car before so i was new to it all sroy must of sold it to me boosted to wahoosy cause i didnt even know how to turn the boost up or down do you know sroy personally as a friend
so then the the engine shit for watever reason i that got the engine taken out and bought anothere one from adeilade got the engine put back in i didnt acully do any of the work then i trailed it to errols and asked him to check everything was ok ie manifolds plugs wiring i turbo i even dropped of a spare manifold turbo everthing you could ever want so he told me he checked it was all ok he said that he changed the plugs fixed some wiring then he was happy it was ready so he chucked it on the dyno to tune it and that engine shit it self 2 so he tells me its ok i will fix it at no cost to you it will just cost you for the tune 400 or something like that then 6 to 8 mnths later car still not done he then sprang a 2200 bill on me and said bring the car when back when i get your injectors in i payed half the bill and never got a call the car broke down on me that week and i cracked the shits hardcore swore never to go back to errols again

WOW thats gotta suck mate... i just bought my car mate n it ran high 200kws then we were going threw the stage or roadworthy n shit then i go pickup the car thinking everything was going to be cool... well it all was... but when i got home it wasnt boosting right... i had found out the computer in the car have been reseted n my boost also! now i have to get the thing tuned again or i blow the motor which has only dont 10,000KM... 17g's on the car like i have a extra $800 for a turn... i have called up so many places n no one will touch my car cause of my computer! 1 place will n they r in the city n they want my car for a whole week... IT sucks sometimes... guess i was just to excited about the car... least its only a $500-800 problem that will make the car 200kws ^^^^+++ good luck with selling ya car

wat sort of computer is it maztech in thornbury are great of you are in melb and need to get it towed anywhere jire a trailer and i will tow it for you i have a second car that loves to tow better to tow it then to do 8gs damage trust me they arnt that deer at maztech either it cost me 440 and they know there evo and vr4 engins the guy there has a chevyl luv truck with vr4 running gear
so if you need a hand just give me a shoutout
