93 galant central locking problem

hey i have a problem with my central locking in which im meaning when ever i lock my car via immobilizer button it locks all doors fine, however, when i come to unlock it, it only unlocks the drivers door n from then on only the drivers door can be unllocked n locked untill i manually open the other 3 doors by hand.

ive pulled the doors and trims apart to work out where its gone wrong but im not getting any luck
also cannot find the main central locking mechanism.

any ideas?

how is your central locking connected to your alarm? is it wired in or does it control a solenoid in the drives side door?

both the front doors are set up as primary control, so both sides should be able to lock and unlock the car. the stock central locking is based on a simple 4 wire system..
2 wires for the solenoid which reverse polarity
2 wires for the control to know which is up or down
the black box should be situated just above the driver side fuse box inside the car..

i would track down where your immob is connected to your central locking and take it from there...

yeah its a solenoid
and yes ive located the black box where you have said although it is a sealed plastic system... everything seems to be wired correctly.
thanks for the help mate! ill do some crawling around under the dash n see where that gets me.

does your immob have a neg or pos out put trigger when its active? cause you can take off the solenoid which the immob controls and actually wire into the stock system....

Just a guess, and if the central locking is an aftermarket job, it sounds like the solenoid on the drivers door is a "master" and will probably have 4 wires going to it. If so, the the switch inside it which tells the relay when it is open or closed isn't working.
Basically, when the master opens, it tells the relay to open all the others and same when the master closes. If that switch part is broken on the unlock stroke, then it won't tell the relay to unlock all the others.
