93 lancer gsr PROBLEM!!!!! Please help

Ok so my brothers gsr is acting up ever since he put on a k&n pod filter the car has started play up.

Eg. Coming around the corner and all of a sudden it feels like its gearing its self down
At first it just felt like an air leak but now
The more we fiddle with the pod filter the worse it gets. I'm a newbie so please help. This post is for my brothers gsr not mine
I'd like to know incase this happens with mine

Put stock setup back on and let me know if it still playing up

What do you mean by it feels like its gearing down. Make sure the MAF is plugged in properly.

^ As Gianni said, reconnect your MAF plug.

You didnt damage the MAF installing the pod?

as per sms sent. check maf plug....but also make sure the clamps that hold the rubber inlet from the turbo to the maf are tight. while checking the clamps, also check that the hose hasn't separated in the middle

its missing at high revs, drives fine at first put when you try and punch it it cuts off

plugs
leads
air filter

check for boost leaks.

How much boost are you running make sure you gap plugs too .8mm is good
