A/C compressor

Hi guys,

I need help to sort out my A/C issue.
Details: 1994 GSR Jap import with automatic A/C but the compressor is missing.
Now, the engine will be replaced with a 4G63T from a Aus delivered Galant 1991 what came with a compressor.
But the pipes apparently won't fit at from the GSR to the Galant compressor.
So what solutions are there? I want to keep the A/c and working, the compressor of the Galant dosen't seem to be ok, need to check it.

Anyone a idea?

For $100 posted you can have my Evo 3 compressor.. Have bolts so should fit up easily.

does it fit to the gsr pipes? Is it working ok?

I think you need the mounting plate for compressor Aswell. I think the vr4 one is different.

the pipe to the compressor is missing too, Is there just one? I can't find the other connecting.

Here's pics of my EVO 4G63T aircon compressor. Im using it because I run a VR4 engine but with an EVO wiring loom throughout. So the single wire plug to the aircon compressor is what the EVO uses. You will also need the X-Brace that bolts onto the back of the block first, then the aircon compressor bolts onto the X-brace. Part identifier number is 87005 in the diagram I've attached. In the same diagram it shows the VR4 aircon setup on the left hand side of the pic. Its also a good referene to see the aircon mounting bolt lengths and diameters.
Anyway, you will need the 2 litre aircon lines obviously. However the aircon condenser and hardline to the dryer unit is the same between the GSR/EVO, so is one of the aircon lines from the firewall to the aircon condenser.

I do have the bracket not sure about the tensioner.

I'll use the engine harness from the vr4 engine, the plug will be on there.

I'm missing the pipe from the fire wall to the A/C compressor, pipe from connector at condenser to compresssor. maybe the bracket with the tensioner as well, but need to look at the boxes i got. the no. at the compressor is ara201a006, model fx80

Does tensioner interchange between vr4 and evo 3 x brackets ?
