Hi guys,

Took my car for a drive through the natio the other day

and half way through the drive i noticed my ABS light

comes on when on full boost. i checked all the wheel

sensors and they all seem to be clean. ive never really

dealt with abs on these cars before so i dont really know

where else to start. i did a search and didnt find about

anyone else having this problem.

thanks.

would a diagnostic machine pick up the problem?

i was thinking it might be a loose ground but i cant seem to find anything.

any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Could it have anything to do with your brake booster? I am new to these puppies aswell but its a guess.

Yeah I had a similar problem previously where my handbrake light was stuck on. I spent ages trying to track the problem, tracing back wires and looking for a short somewhere. It wasnt until my brother uncrewed the lid of the brake fluid reservoir and fiddled with the float that the light came off lol... was an easy fix lol...

I'd say perhaps check your ABS fuse on the positive battery terminal connection, or make sure its got a good conductive connection. Fiddle with the ABS plug near the power steering reservoir, under the centre console, plugs behind the glovebox that feed through to the ABS unit under the A-pillar, and of course the ABS sensor plugs and wires under the car. Look for an exposed wire in one of the plugs due to wear or something under the car at each wheel as well.

SNIP

You coupe boys really do know your wiring dont you :)

There's part of the ABS computer system bolted on a bracket under there. The ABS computer itself lives under the dash on a bracket behind the ashtray.
