Has anyone removed the ABS from their gsr or cc lancer?
Just curious if you had any issues and what the outcome was.

Thanks
Liam

space, weight...etc

not really after counceling or therapy in regards to why I am doing it, purely want ppls experiences on the process and not the motivation.

Thanks for the reply though.

I have converted wagon useing gsr and didn't install the abs as also i didn't want it and didn't want to screw around with all the abs lines.

Even better, so if I find the lines off a wagon I should be able to use those, just saves me having to bend and flare the bundy tube.

Would probably be better off getting the lines from a GL sedan.

Yeah I would go with that, I beleive DOUGMO has done this on his E2 Track car, any CC lancer will do, just the rear lines could be a little different due to drum brakes but you will get most of the pipes pretty right.

If you want to see what it is like you can remove the ABS fuse or unplug the unit and drive without ABS for a few days.

Someone correct me if I am wrong on this but I can't see an issue.

Ok I made the above advice and now need to remove the ABS fuse from the EVO but everything is in Japanese.

Is the ABS fuse the main one on the battery? If not which one is it?

Side note the abs unit has gone cactus. Making a massive continuous wining noise whilst the car is turnt off.
