Doing abit of tidying on my gsr and wanting to create some more space come engine swap time.

Just wondering if its possible to run your own ax and power steering lines? The power steering I'm not to worried about since 99% of it is rubber hose, but the ac piping, what's the go with that? Is it ok to just use all rubber hose bar the valves and connections? What's the go? It's just so messy I'm not even sure if I want to keep it however this is no track car so it would be preferred

Cheers

You'd need to see a ac specialist for the ac line, and somewhere like pirtek for the power steering line. Neither will be cheap to have custom made for your requitrements.

I took my power steering out when we put the new motor in, with street tyre pressures its not too bad to drive, but if im driving home from the track with the low pressures its a pig, looks pretty under the bonnet tho

Did you loop the hoses or strip the valve out of the rack itself.
Im pretty tempted to do this. Might gut out the rack on the wreck as a trial.

Cheers guys, nah defiantly keeping the ps because i can clean that up abut without too much work, the ax though I've just removed the lines betrween the firewal and pump, so once I've set everything else up where I'm happy ill see an ac pro and if that costs to much ill just take it out :) cheers
