Accerleration Woes

Okay short history

93 gsr still running 93t
recent mods ie past 2 months
new FMIC piping and new PWR FMIC
heat wrapped dump pipe
that's all I cant think off

okay I got back from overseas and currently the car is doing the funnies again

when you start the car it goes straight away as normal, but when I tap the accelerator the revs drop for a short instance then climb
if you drop your foot completely on the accelerator it will literally stall the engine. Under light load on the accelerator I am able to drive around without trouble but its kinda annoying me . im running a haltech e8 and have not touched a think apart from fuel pump prime time.

Are you running MAF or MAP?

Tps is going ok?

Maybe accel tip in has changed for some reason.

^ this happened to me with my Haltec E6x.

TPS was the issue, no idea what it required re calibration however that corrected the issue.

With ecmlink you just log it. Check that it says 0ish at closed throttle and reads 100% at full throttle and is smooth all the way through.

MAP sensor only.

Will have a look missle as i have my worklaptop here , when i get a chance ill see what the tps is seeing at open and closed

okay reviving the dead here.

I trialed a tps from another gsr, I caliberated as per the website

still got the exact same issue , regardless of the position of the TPS. Ive got a video of what its doing but I don't know how to upload. I can message to anyone though and they tell me what they think

alright ordered a new TPS anwwayz which wasn't to bad only $80 so if this doesn't fix it im going to burn the car

seems as though you have the same relationship I had with mine(now sold) . love to love it. love to hate it. I may never buy another mrshitty again
