i wanted to get one, then cut the holes bigger and replace them with evo 3 vents

or just cut holes in my standard bonnet and put in evo 3 vents, lol

The RS/E0 bonnet is like 12 kg lighter if it matters. Having both I can say that with some certainty.

entartan u must have one of those aluminium ones because the normal vented bonnets are basically the same weight as a stock one. i go to adelaide jap every few months and the day I feel a light bonnet will be the day i buy one. personally i cant justify spending $375 on what is essentially 2 vents

Well, when i'm next in adel with my car i'll chase you up. You can pick my bonnet up.

I can lift it on the latches with my pinky finger, and you gotta let it go from about halfway otherwise it's impossible to close properly.

Then yeah you definately must have one of the good ones. The ones ive seen are just normal bonnets with vents (and the underbracing altered as Baz said). In fact Adelaide Jap actually confirmed that with me one day, but didnt u get yours from there?
