What's up,
Having some issues with my FPR:
Bought a new AEM FPR and did the install this week. First time i set it up, i started the car but it had a leak, so i had to take it back down to reinstall different o-rings.
set it back up again, but now the car won't turn over (start up). i cranked it over a few times at what i thought was the AEM setting @ 40 psi, turrned out the adjuster screw wound out to be 29 psi. so i think i may have flooded the engine. I set the the fuel pressure to 43.5 psi (with the vacuum line off/before vacuum) by just turning on my fuel pump. it cranks, but won't turn over and every so often i get backfire, in one sporadic shot.
have to keep rejuicing the battery so it won't run down.
took out the plugs, they were fouled. cleaned them. sitting the car overnight, hopefully most of the fuel with evaporate by tomorrow. any help would be greatly appreciated.
my car specs are:
Evolution 1
EvoLink G1 Standalone
Nippondenso 255 fuel pump
510cc injectors (yellow top with green bottom dual outlet)
AEM Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
The AEM stock setting is at 40psi - and it turned over on that.
Any help from experience would be greatly noted...
Nick
