the HPinabox adapters don't work because they are meant for the later model 4g63

you can get these from ebay, the holes are for all the models so you dont need to chop up the adapter

i just have a sard one with a gauge hooked up inline

i think the easiest thing to do would be to buy a kit from the us that includes lines, the fpr, a gauge and all the fittings and hose ends, because that way you know it will fit at least

Without a doubt I would use the Aeromotive A1000 FPR and kit as per your link http://www.streettunedmotorsports.com/parts/aeromotive_fpr_kit_gauge.htm . It's a measly $220US ($268AU for everything!!! some places in AU charge $250 just for the FPR!). It's the pick of the bunch and comes with the kit including all fittings, adapters, gauge and braided line to go from the fuel rail to the FPR and then to your return line. While you're at it, I'd be grabbing the fuel filter to fuel rail kit as well  (Sard I think are only -4AN too btw)

thats a nice kit!
its like mine =)

just that i bought everything individually...

it depends what u want to do.

i've said it to others, i'd go fuel filter to fuel rail in -6 with a new bosch filter
and also fuel rail to fuel pressure reg in -6 also.
return line stock
fuel pump to fuel filter can be left stock if u cbf.

malpassi's / sards have tiny fittings and might have the same effect as the stock fpr in regards to not being able to release enough pressure at idle / base pressure... depending on the pump etc.

to be safe, that aeromotive kit plus the filter to rail lines will do you fine.

if u want to go cheaper, u could give the sard / malpassi a shot, they will be better than stock thats for sure... and see how you go

as for fittings, u can get them locally in mitcham, they are cheap also.

nanana... not the black Aeromotive one as I dont think its 1:1 and could even be for non EFI, you want the A1000 1:1 model that looks like this. They run -6AN connections:

the guy just told me he won't ship international.
Import Evolution said the shipping costs would be about US$33 on their kit, so I'd assume it'd be fairly similar for the other shops.
This is the same thing from ExtremePSI:

also, where is the standard FPR located?

has anyone mounted their new FPR on the end of the fuel rail and had trouble with fitting a strut brace?

I thought it was gold.
Anyways a lil disc shap with a vac line coming off it. The FPR is bolted to the end of your exisiting fuel rail.

I had a sard regulator with E4/5/6 sard adaptor on my old VR4 with a strut brace

no worries there :D
