Hey guys I'm thinking of going the aftermarket route for my GSR 1.8L

Anybody have any recommendations?
Not looking at spending too much either but want the best power gain possible.

Thanks in advance guys :D

Go stock evo 3 piping and cooler... easy to get, easy to use, plenty of headroom for power mods.

you really only have the MEEK or plazmaman off the shelf aftermarket items that will be pretty jucha direct fit...

some people upgrade the IC to vr4 or evo spec, thewn adapt their piping to suit, but the gsr piping isnt much to write home about

as above, if sourced for the right price the factory evo option is a great upgrade... you will however need to upgrade your throttle body (which is highly recomended in conjuction with an intake manifold porting) as there is no way in hell that the evo pipe will clamp up to the gsr tb...

any IC upgrade from the stock gsr bread-loaf is going to produce better results...

what are you after?
a custom route? custom piping? or a pre-made kit?
whats your budget?

was seeing if anybody has dealt with anybody who makes custom piping etc.

i've heard the plazaman and meek kits are good

after a kit roughly $1000

Yeh I have evo 1 piping but just sold the cooler to a mate who needed it more so I'm either goina get rid of the evo piping and get an aftermarket kit or one made up

if i can get my hands on a mint evo 1-3 cooler i'll most likely stick with the evo upgrade

or you could just use a silicon reducer
Thats just going backwards olly
Meek kit or half meek kit cold side and hot side do the grp a wrc evo II & III over manifold 7degree bend at end of rocker cover (passanger end) into a 90 down through abs unit area into a90 w/right angle through mid point 8 degree under headlight indictor and a straight to cooler + maybe right angle bend out of hotside cooler through rad support straight to TB ;)
Its the WRC GrpA method so has to be good ;)
