Air con compressor replacement

Hi all,

I recently got my SSG/HSG hybrid RVR back on the road after years of working on it on and off.

I also just got a call from the guy re-gassing the air con to say the compressor is seized, so I'll need a replacement one. Does anyone know if there were any Australian Mitsu's that used the same compressor? The engine that went into it was an Evo III engine (the old engine was blown), but the compressor from that engine had different outlets, so I had to fit the old (knackered) RVR compressor.

Alternatively, does anyone have one laying around?

No after market parts maker does an aircon compressor unfortunately

I have a proton 4g15 and a sonata one here if you want to put up pics to compare. Maybe a gsr one here also....

the "guy" gassing your air con should be able to at least tell you what compressor will fit or at least which one he can retrofit for you.......

Thanks guys, much appreciated. I didn't ask him to look around for one to retrofit, just incase there was a common compressor I could get easily. Seems that isn't the case.

I'll have a look at the differences between my spare Evo III compressor and the RVR compressor... Maybe it's not as major as I originally thought. We'll see.
