i got an apexi intake pod which also came with brackets but i'm having a hard time finding where to secure it as it won't seem to fit/reach the holes in the chassis.. are the gsr and evo chassis the same as the apexi i got is for an evo 1 - 3 but as i had an evo afm it was a straight bolt on..

was wondering if anyone had the apexi intake in there evo 1 - 3 and had the brackets on so i could see where it goes..

if not, does anyone know a place where i could go get some brackets made up as my intake is not secure..

what do you mean my not secure? Is it just an APEXi pod or is it a whole you intake pipe?

A little movement shouldnt hurt it too much, just make sure it aint going anywhere!

didnt have any brackets with my hks pod so this is how I mounted it
same principal for you
the pod your trying to mount you can either make a brace and bolt to one of the 4 bolts pod side of afm and either go down to the captured nut in the chassis rail below it or do similar to the above pic in my Libero

hope that helps

yeah something like that libero.. where did you get those brackets from? it doesn't move that much dre but it the end of the pod rubs against the chassis.. nothing serious but just want it to be stable :p

those brackets are flat stainless bar with holes try a specialty hardware for tradesmen and also got small stainless counter sunk philips head bolts and nuts to match with a lock washer, bent the bracket where i needed it and cut the bar to size. does a perfect job of holding it steady.
