i own a 1990 aus galant vr4
after 5 months of having the engine out and being rebuilt the mechanics have finially put it back in.
it got started and was running for 2 hours and when they went to finially drive it out the workshop to embed the rings the engine turned off just outside the door of the shop.
i turned up 5 min later and they said the car had no fuel or spark. and the alarm immobiliser wasnt working
the alarm had shit itself and it was connected to the turbo timer and had no fuses on it so that stuffed up too.
they were connected to the computer without fuses and it blew my computer too we think.
have a dummy computer coming hopefully tomoro for it.
the alarm system was working fine before i blew the engine so could it be the mechanics fault that the alarm blew or is all that shit connected separate and the alarm was just dodgey???
sorry if a stupid question or in wrong section
i dont know bout this stuff and am a noob.
cheers
dan :)
