It's been suggested to me by a turbo guru (some say "thee" turbo guru himself) to upgrade the td04 on my auto GSR to a 19t, possibly due to the auto side of things. Any how my question is would I still be able to use the evo ecu, Injectors and afm to run the turbo on the 4g93t? Or would it require I diff plan of action?

All depend on if the Evo Ecu is re-writable or not.

If it isn't then no, but if you've sent it away to have it socketed and a re-writable chip fitted, i.e. by ECMLink, etc then yes, you'd just need a new map written to suit the new set up uploaded to it.

If you make the decision to get it socketed, pay a bit extra and have the capacitors replaced on for proper Japanese ones as well.

The stock capacitors on the 4G63 ECU boards are renowned for leaking.

i'd say yes as the ecu is only seeing the metered air coming in and the resulting afr going out it'll just run in lower levels of the map

but thats just my opinion

WRX owners throw the 19T wheel on to replace their 13T wheel, its still a TD04L

The 19T wheel is roughly 5.5mm bigger then the 13T wheel. There is about a 100CFM @ 2PR increase after machining the WRX 13T to a 19T

i suppose its not a common enough path taken as far as these cars are concerned so id have to just try it and see huh? lol
if i cant just use the evo ecu as it is like with the td05 then id rather sell the evo ecu and re-write the 4g93 ecu. seems like less of a hassle
