that is number 1 cylinder. damage was done cruising, I don't have a pressure gauge in it yet, so it was stock fuel pressure on stock fuel system. it was running lean, thats for sure.
 
My advice...
Remove engine from Red car and install in White one.
Make sure temp gauge wire can never fall off again and turn the boost down so it doesn't ping itself into another early grave!
 
Tim I hadn't driven on boost for about 3 days, and boost was only at 10psi, when we pulled the head last night we found that it wasn't torques down correctly most of the heat stud nuts were only just over hand tight
 
Is there maybe some other problem like in your fuel system, the fuel pressure reg not rising the pressure in reference to boost, or something like that, did you kill the last motor from what you put down to running lean?

There may be something else going on in the rest of the setup
 
The engine was supposedly built by --- motorsport. I did think it was appropiate to put the full name. It was really just an exhaust that tried to get into the full performance scene. They are no longer open, but I have never heard a good thing from anyone that had been there.
