I've got some old lifters just laying around waiting to go in the bin if you need a couple. Might make one myself for when I rebuild my engine again.

have you threaded the inner or pressed a nut inside?

No they're not, just offering some old lifters if you didn't have any so you could make some

If that Q was to me, I have just pressed a nut in and given it a couple of tacks with the mig. If you wanted to spec it some more, you could machine a 2mm s/s washer to sit on the top half of the lifter and use a locking nut tightened down onto that to ensure it stays square. That said when I degreed my cam in, I got good consistency with it as is.

Did mine on the stand so was much easier!!
