Help Support 4GTuner:

Thanks heaps for that bud yeah i just spoke to the service place and they said i would have to take it to the TMR guys in dandy (what a hike and its not like dandy station is fun to hang at :p) '

Yeah i don't know heaps about evo engines as i've only worked on ca18's and 2j's but be ace if there was a cruise coming up and i could catch up with the 4g guys and some of you guys could give me a run down on the car :p I mean In Japan there was 3 models released but not sure what model was released to Aus because of the 6 Speed GB im assuming its a MR but there isn't alot of info out there on the aus delivered ones....

yeh i know Mall, and Damien his son in law quite well.

the car was purchaced to be built as a tarmac rally car, by TMR. IT was not a clubspec (was build before the TMR started building the club specs) but was along the same lines, ralliart ecu tune, bolt in cage etc.

I knew that Mal had sold the car a little while ago, as he was retiring from competition.

It has done targa tas several times as well as classic adel etc.

I would sugget to contact Alan Heaphy At TMR for history of the car.

Sorry Empathy only just found this thread.

The car was purchased from Australian Motors Adelaide SA, 2005 build. The car has competed in 'Showroom' class so doubt it was modified at all. The car was bought as an ADM delivered then sent to TMR for rally prep. Mal explained to me that the car was one of the first 9s that TMR got to spec up and that it was the base for the TMR club spec series that were later released in 2006 (like mine). It has done Targa Tasmania and Classic Adelaide once as a PR car, and again as a Modern entry in 08. This car came 3rd in Showroom class in Targa last year? Of course the car has semis, cage, fire extinguishers, harnesses, bonnet pins, etc. If it has competed in Showroom class you would imagine that only safety items are fitted to the car. It also has factory gurney lip, canards and vortex generator. Hope this helps and isnt too late!
