Anyone tried to get their car in mags?

Hey I was just thinkin about this the other day - has anyone from these forums had their car featured in a mag like fast fours? From a few photos i have been seeing floating around lately (such as your car Clutz - fkn awesome looking rims man!), IMO they are worthy of a couple pages in a fours and rotary mag!

Would love to see a might GVR4 up their on the shiny pages - it would probably spark an interest in them too.

I haven't tried, but if I got offered right now, i'd say no.

It'd only be when its finished, i.e respray, engine rebuild etc.

With my ebay addiction and other habbits, that probably wont be any time soon, fingers crossed by autosalon.

How does it work? Do they have anything saying that if you have you car in one magazine, you cant have it in another? Do they give you anything for your troubles? Like a date with one of the models? :lol:

basically, take the pics, write the article and once standards are good enough, post away.
I did a photo essay, got a full page and a coupla hundred. Not much if you saw how much film I used...but that wet t-shirt comp was a hoot

i was in speed mag, wasnt caus my car was show quallity, but part of the Good to evo article.. where they compared VR4 to evo 8 against each other... was an awesome day and got a full page on the car.. so that was cool..

i saw that also...
There is a silver galant GSR with a review on the sound system.

it has
stock vr4 rims
6x9's on the rear panel
and looks like a 12" subbie

And as for the vr4,
its a white aus spec
TAD-862 plates
some multi (i mean multi) spoke rims
looks like 15's or 16's..
looks stock

looks like the battery has been relocated and also the only other thing i can pick out is a silver cam gear cover..
tinted windows also and a fulltime4wd sticker instead of the mitsu sticker on the rear boot..

some other little stickers but thats about it..

That sounds like djb's.... is the air filter relocated? IE: Through down where the battery was? That's the giveaway for his car.

Speaking of all this just had Hot 4s contact us today to see if we had any hot cars in at present or any customer cars that may be of interest ???
