Anyone using this Intake yet?

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

Seeing as he is only taking deposits because he hasn't made them yet I'd say no Jay.
:p

Apart from the couple of prototypes that are floating around that is....

those are some big gains i'd mos def be looking into getting one once my tune gets up there abit more :) as long as they make them to suit the evo 3 :/

Im goin to be watching with interst how people on smaller turbo's like 20g's and 50 trims go with it. The maker has said there flow AND spool gains to be made if you flowing over 40lb/min, so making roughly 400hp at the crank upwards.
One guy that looked at it seems to think its more for the 6-800hp guys as its quite big in volume, so it'll be interesting how spool goes along with the flow increases if your more around the 400-500hp level.

There's a lot of hype so it'll be great to see how it goes. Great for us big port vr4 guys.

i'm keeping eye on this too...... it looks interesting.... and i may purchase one later on...

although is does resemble the Greddy intake mani for the SR20..... which did look good when it was available....

The Magnus intake has some massive runners. I know when I installed my Magnus sheetmetal intake to my VR4 engine (1G), I personally port matched and polished my intake side to suit the runners as part of a number of head modifications. You'll lose a bit down low but the top end flow is amazing ;)
