I'm in the process of getting an eprom chip done for me from Razza in N.Z and was wondering if there's anyone out there that would like one too?

You can either have a VR4 or EVO 1-3, and you obviously must have a socketed eprom ECU.

Here's the low-down for the VR4 eproms~>

I have brought the hardware to be able to write chips for E39A Galant VR4's. A few of the guys in Christchurch are also running these with great results. Two VR4's are running 12.1's. A couple of weeks back I ran a 12.6 on one of these chips.

The features of the chips are as follows:

# VR4 RS Ignition & Fuel Maps

# Injector Compensation
Install any size injectors you want and the car will run fine off the standard computer.

# Deadtime Adjustment
Adjustable deadtime to suit bigger injectors.

# AFM Compensation
Run a Evo AFM that flows more air and the chip will compensate for this.

# Fuel Cut Removal

# Octane Reset on Startup

# Launch Control/Stutterbox
My favourite feature. If the car is stationary a rev limit of 5000rpm (or whatever you want) is imposed. With your foot hard down the car will actually build boost. As soon as the clutch is released and the car moves the rev limit returns to normal. 60 foot times of 1.6 have been seen while using this feature.

# Shift Light
Check engine comes on as a shift light

and here's the low down for the EVo 1-3 eproms~>

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 1/2/3 ECU. ECU has been socketed and is ready to have a customised EPROM installed to suit your setup.

The features of the EPROM are as follows:

# Performance Fuel/Timing Maps
Suited to 98 Octane Fuel. Tuned on Dyno.

# Injector Compensation
To run larger injectors of your choice. For example install your 700cc Sard Fuel Injectors and the car will run and idle like it is standard.

# Deadtime Adjustment
Deadtime adjustment to suit alternative Fuel Injectors.

# Fuel Cut Removal

Increase in point of Fuel Cut or completely removed.

# Speed Cut Removal
To remove the factory 180kph speed limit

# Launch Control/Stutterbox
Used to build boost on the line. Put your foot to the floor while the car is stationary and the car will build boost. Watch the follow videos to give you a better idea:

FYI: Razza's chips _ONLY_ suit jspec ECU's and jspec vr4's. They don't suit the aspec vr4. I've already asked :/ (Unless it's changed in the last 2 months dre?)

Why wouldnt they?

Have you tried it?

Surely the ECU's in A-specs are JDM, just with different eproms?

I dont see anything on the meek website saying "only JDM" or "only A-spec" ECU's?

maybe VR-4-PLAY can tell us?

Okay i've just gotten off the blower to Razza, and he said he will have A-spec eproms coming soon, so for now it can only be for J-spec's that have chippable ECU's.
