i've had it in my car awhile now, and the car hasn't been driven in like 6 months, the battery has been flat would that reset the settings that were stored???

hey dyung,

i took my batt out once to change batteries and my headunit reset all the settings but my safc and avcr retained the settins still.. i remember reading on the apexi site all there piggybacks store information in them so even if unplug them and put them in a diff car it will have the same settins as the first car you took it out, unless you reset it yourself.

They are flash memory. They don't reset unless you reset them with or without power.

As olly said, if you pull it from your car and put it in a different one, it'll keep the old settings.
