Hi,

I recently bought a gsr with a vr4 in it, it has the apexi turbo timer which works but when i turn off the ignition the engine just turns off and the timer counts down turning the heating off when it finishes.

Can anyone give or direct me some instructions as to how to fix this problem as i am sick of sitting in my car for a minute after get where i am going~

Thanks

one of the wires might be hooked up wrong.

i installed this on my evo a while back and had that same prob, i think it's to do with one of the ignition wires... i changed it to the other one and it worked.

sorry i can't remember it of the top of my head at the mo.

a wiring diagram from apex website, might help http://www.apexi-usa.com/pdfWiring/9.pdf

Wow  That must have been a tight fit... did the VR4 come free or did you have to pay extra for it.

Why don't you just take it easy for the last minute of driving then you wouldn't have to wait a minute when you stop?

It just sounds like its been hooked up wrong.

Mine does that, but i have an inbuilt Turbo timer in my alarm system, it has a trip switch on the gearstick, so if you take the keys out of ignition and touch the gearstick the car stops running, but the timer keeps counting down.
