Help Support 4GTuner:

gees, i wish my money tree would hurry up and grow!
dunno how streetable that would be tho, says the power band really needs to be between 4000-8000rpm... would be great with a massive turbo tho! :D

no need
stock ones are fine for the 4000 - 7000rpm powerband (single runners anyway, not sure about twins)

How much of a demand is there for this stuff?
I work for my dad in the family biz doing all the 3D CAD drawings, and we manufacture a lot of stuff in china. we have all the contacts and I have wandered for a while now if I drew up intakes and turbo manifolds wether they would sell?
we have $50,000 programmes to test flow and heat and u name it, so I should beable to get the desired results. and then cast them up from aluminium.
should not cost more than $500 for an intake designed as exotically as u can imagine.

Stock intakes are perfect unlses you plan to rev past 7500 rpm.

Manifolds might make some... but there's god knows how many models on the market.

Short shifter kits.... other stuff like that tho...

It all depends on your particular setup. The stock manifold is very efficient at providing a nice linear and torquey (good for street) power curve, but once you get larger sized turbos, nice fat cams (hks 272's or larger), or both you REALLY see a big difference by upgrading to a sheet metal intake manifold. Guys here have recorded 40+whp increases with no other change but going from the stock manifold to a smim!
