ASpec ECU into JSpec

Ok, i really need this EGT (pin15) available for a external 0-5v logging option.

Has anyone swapped a ASpec ECU into a JSpec VR4, and with keeping a JSpec EPROM.

Will this work ? Will this remove the 180k speed limit, or is that in the EPROM ?
What about the DSMLink, will that work in a JSpec ECU, and keep all the DSMLink options ?

There doesn't seam to be alot of information out there on the JDM VR4's

well we've done the opposite and put a jspec into an auspec..
just had to rewire a few things, other than that it worked..

What did you have to rewire ?

Im also not sure if the Dual runner intake will work :?

Yeah it wont... no control on the A-Spec ecu.. but if you read the US galantvr4.org, there is a lot of info about making it switch, a lot of people are using RPM operated switches. Hobbs switches or pills or something heh, can't remember.

I'm pretty sure you can use the cyclone with the aus spec ecu

people in the US are getting keydiver to put something into the chip that activates it

do you already have the aus spec ecu?

get a dsmlink, and see if it works in the jspec ecu as well

if not, chuck it into the aus spec

Im not sure if this ASpec Entaran and i are parting out, has a A or J ECU (Its a A with a J motor)
