For anybody needing new or second hand tyres, I can't recommend these guys enough. They also sell slicks and semi-slicks too.
I bought some new tyres with a 4-wheel wheel alignment done at the same time. I was quoted about $70 for the alignment, but my car proved to be so far out of whack, they spent 2.5 hours getting it right and didn't mention trying to charge me extra which I thought was very impressive. The handling is easily 500% better now than what it was prior to the alignment.
For you guys with low cars who may have trouble getting them onto the wheel alignment ramps at most places, Associated Tyres have a "pit" were you don't have to drive the car onto a ramp... they work in the pit underneath the car.
The tyres I bought were also $40/corner cheaper than the next cheapest quote that I got for exactly the same tyre.
The other thing that impressed me was a courtesy call that I received a few months after the work was done.
