Hi all,

Im a little conflicted atm.....i have an awesome Aldo auto that has done about 50 meters of driving that i was going to put into a new project car but im a massive fan of manuals. So my current predicament is do i go manual or stay auto?

If i changed i was hoping for a swap with a small cash adjustment either way if i made my mind with manual.

Truth be told im unsure on power, I'd like to say 300awkw maximum as it will be in a Satria.

Unless I was particularly chasing a 1/4 mile I'd go manual. In saying that I have driven a full manualised auto, I think it was the car that started Aldo on the Journey. It was not bad... Almost sequential

It will be a weekender with 1/4 mile in mind, i have an Aldo auto already i just have to split it and put the centre diff back in it.

My apolagies the output shaft for the transfer case. Everythinh has been locked up and blocked off for fwd.

I also have a c73a awd manual box with lsd so i dont have to purchase another box so to speak.

Auto box can be tuned for upshifts and downshifts with inclusion of higher oil pressure.
What else would you want. I even tuned one of Aldos tcu's as dual tune so you can run street tune and flick the swich to run drag setup.

How do I Hey myself an updated eprom for my AMG?
What tcu are you using?
You need tcu socketed as well and eprom writen with addition of switch to run dual mode.

I'm running a Galant gsr TCU at the moment. I'll check if it is an eprom. If so, what do I need to send you to make it work?

Currently I'm getting annoying flaring during low tps shifting. Id like every shift to be quicker pressures don't have to be high at low tps but time needs to be reduced.

Also temp limp mode is too low and even with a fan and cooler it goes into limp. I have to override and use the shift box when this happens.

The stock tcu controlled the f4a22 box I had. Ive now made it work with the f4a33 (no lock up).

Ta.

Check if there is an eprom. I would still have to see if I can read from it and find tables.
Socket needs to be soldered with switch mode to it.

Baz I told you before. Best is an RVR SSG or HSG TCU
You get manual/auto mode switching on the fly
My extra pivot switch is the Twin auto maps
Programing is for max downshift speed lockouts per gear
WOT shift speeds per gear
Minimum upshift speeds per gear at 5% throttle behind Granny
Downshift speeds per gear with no throttle
Both maps can be programed as required by Miodrag
My twin map switch & man/auto is on my console, but you could hide it
As Miodrag said one for daily driving & one for strip
Or you could have one for daily & one that can't be driven or stolen
Much better than a push button switchbox that has firmware delay etc
But don't ask Miodrag for crazy maps for a standard box
Aldo
