hi All

i just got back from the auto salon, yeah dont bother. the cars arnt anything flash. some cool air brushing and a few scanks and thats about it.

i saw a lancer coupe with a 4g63 and thats about it. my mate from C&D moter works in sunshine took there R33 down and the dyno is off or riged. the car pulled 380kw last night and this morning on there dyno it got 311kw?

i dont get it?

And as for the autosalon dont bother if u havent gone yet. it was very crapy :x .
Thay really need some new cars
and it was half the size it normaly is.
you would get a better turn out at one off hour cruzies

yup.. not a good turnout.. it was empty in some spots!.. not one gsr/evo/vr4 out there.. closest thing i saw was a turbocharged lancer with an attempted widebody.. (gold/bronze gotham city lancer)
dyno was a bit iffy.. saw a mr2 stock with an exhaust pull 149kw atw.. surely they can't be that tough?!

Autosalon.....the special olympics of car shows!

The best car there in my opinion was ( i hate to say it) a commodore...the blue VN/VP "SENATOR". I hate commodore's but damn this thing was built extremely well and so so clean! thats probably also why it has won top 10 at summernats the past 2 years. Other than that there wasn't much to look at!

On another note i think it should be mandatory to have a dress code in place at this event! and for anyone that doesnt comply....have a chick at the entry door with a pair of clippers!
