Was originally talking suspension but also do need tie rod end as well. Wrote last message in a rush sorry and did not explain very well. So thanks a heap.

I replaced both the complete ball joints in my GSR with aftermaket ones (Repco), they just pressed in.

Cheers

Thanx guys. Went in and orderd parts 2 day. Will b looking at rear end in wked hopfuly wont need to replace anything. But I dout it by the way things r going so far, every thing looks to be the origanail stuff, 20 years old

Probably 4 good ones on my parts car.
I have a look when im going past on thurs. Im in perth too.

I would only have boots. As the car was crashed and I wouldnt sell the ball joints in case they are damaged
All gud now m8. Need float switch off fuel pump cradles if u wanna let them go, or whole cradle with pump. Pm me.

yeah theres one there it sits just under the boot, you have to sort of lift the edge of it to see the ring but it looks like its there to hold it in place

I put this pic up last night just after my post and I saw it there. But its gone now.
Anyway, im sure (90%) this is a gsr balljoint. I dont think it shows the bit you are talking about tho
