Help Support 4GTuner:

Don't tell me he's got rpf's... Be pretty effin jealous benzo, lol

Hey, you have the 2nd speedo surround modded and mounted next to your original cluster yeah?
I like that and am contemplating doing the same (thanks, lol) but wanna have another look at yours, where can I find some more pics?

Sorry, I'm not a geek on oem wheels, lol so you mean the oem enkei, when I googled it, rpf's kept coming up and one site was calling the rpf's evo 8/9 rims,

Wise words ↑

Yeah man, I have finished it but can't find pics anywhere. There is a pic here on post 11↓ but it is only the first trial fit. I have modified gauge holders and cups to get the staggered height on the finished product.

The OEM 2 gauge cluster is fagged in the dot.
It's the JDM equivalent to the aerials that bogans make out of coat hangers, I blame the guys who designed the '90s Pajero for that abomination.
Hey... my little shitter hyundai had a coat hanger aerial, lol, doubled as the key after someone tried to break in and stuffed the locks,

Ok, so a bit of an update, the 25g should be all ready to go by easter, Ian and I are looking to smash it out complete with SD and proper wideband sensor install.

It's going to be an operation akin to the burning of ships in the fashion of the Praetorian Prefect Asclepiodotus in 296 AD. My friend needs a 16g-7 turbo which I will remove from the Turdis tomorrow to get his daily operational.
I need a decisive event to put my 25g on.....................no retreat!!!! The only option is to succeed in the project to achieve the intended result!

I was all in until you mentioned the words proper and install in the same sentence.... Ha ha ha!!!!
What about the Ghetto Fab?
Thanks a heap Benny, you're a legend.

16g in Ian's HSG and operational !!!
Good to have the WK operating under it's own steam again! We can't have Gympies only HSG off the streets letting commodore and falcon owners thinking that their cars are fast now can we?

My RVR is in the "Shed of destiny" which is another way of saying at my mate's (my boss) house in his fully equipped 6 car garage. I have these goodies to put on tomorrow for the start of the upgrade.
Oooooh yeah!!.jpg

These are some of the "interesting" things I found when I removed the 16g
Damn!!.jpg
Double damn!!.jpg

The whole setup will be the same as my original RVR (Steaming pile of R), but with different pipework. I'm hoping to eliminate all silicone bends from the turbo outlet to the TB.

In case anyone forgot what it looked like.

Also, the rust patina is coming along nicely

Interesting WG return pipe! I never seen one that long! (that is what she said... ;)). Seriously, usually those are made as short as possible! I am curious if this will cause boost control issues.

I thought there was a saying about how the best place for the wastegate to be plumbed back in was 18 inches down stream.

I would suggest that longer is better, so as to to not disturb the turbine with dumping gases too close to it. This would cause boost issues if too close to the turbine wheel wouldn't it?
Similar reasoning with a screamer.

This is what a typical recirculated WG looks like. I remember reading people having problems when they went too long.

Also, factory bypass joins the exhaust within O2 housing or 10 cm or so ;)
