Just wanting some information and tips on how i should approch my re-build on my evo7 motor for my evo6.5
The evo 7 motor is in complete working order and has only done 20,000kms but i just wanna build it so i know it wont put a rod through the block like my last one...
Ive got an idea on what i wanna use and how much i wanna spend but just want some other opinion and ideas.
I am thinking Eagle rods with CP Pistons, ACL 1.2mm matal head gasket and some nice lumpy cams with a tune on the standard ecu or Power FC, some bigger injectors and fuel pump, nice exhaust manifold and inlet manifold.
Also playing in my mind is running E85...
Can i get some tips on what is good and what people have experienced with the following items...
Rods
Pistons
Head Gasket
Cams
Ecu
Injectors
Fuel Pump
Manifold
E85
I dont have a MASSIVE budget but amd willing to spend som doh
Basics atm are rods, pistons, h/gasket
I ahve noticed that when searching for parts that most list as Evo 4-6.5, the Evo 7-8.
Can i still use evo 4-6.5 parts on the evo 7 motor??? Or even evo 9???
Any information and prices or parts some of yous might have would be great!!!:thumbsup:
