Best entertainment/performance ideas for rvr dash

So I'm about to buy a double din for my rvr, but the ergonomics of where it sits down so low nearly defeats the purpose of have a double din....

Just seeing if anyone has some ideas for audio/entertainment ideas that would neatly fit on top of the dash to the left of the cluster??

I'm thinking something like a screen that folds up and down like a laptop, but doesn't stand out too much when parking in dodgy areas. Plus it'd be a lot easier to see and navigate than down so low behind the gear stick.

Pictures would be great, and brands or models if anyone knows of anything?

Not a bad idea, don't know if I'll go that far tho. Still keen on a laptop style setup on the top of the dash if anyone knows of something suitable?

Double din spot I had single din system on the bottom and top I had a/c installed. In the stock a/c place single din monitor only wired up to dvd

Few small mods like fixing brackets and a bit of trimming for unit to fit. Took me an hour to do.

my dash has this odd dash box that id not seen in another RVR which almost looks like its off the ceiling of another similar era mitsubishi, but if you spoke to chris @ AE about a http://www.navtv.com/ implementation you could probably get something very OEM stealthy looking going on with a simple actuator / motorised screen.
