This is for the guys that have stripped out there cars.

I've pulled out everything and used dry ice to remove most of the sound deadening however it appears that the floor underlay was glued to the floor. The residue is super sticky and I've tired a few products however nothing seemed to work. If anyone has done this and had the same problem could you please recommend something I could try. Its doing my head in :fuuuuu:

Cheers in advance,

Jake

Weird, normally with dry ice, when i've done it, i've cleaned the floor completely and left zero residue.

What other products have you tried so far?

Had the same problem a few years ago with a mates car, ended up using flap discs, paint scrapers and acetone... was nasty stuff

Try some liquid ln2 and pour it in the goop because its liquid it spreads over the area better than dry ice then tap it loose failing that try a caulk wheel

This is the residue I was talking about. looks like the underlay was glued to the floor and when I pulled it out it left half the underlay behind. I've tried a few solvent. The best so far was a heat gun and scraper however it was so time consuming and messy I was hoping there would be an easier way.
