I've just bought some 15" Oz Racing Rims for my GSR. Apparently they came out on special edition CH(?) Lancers a few years back.

Anyhow, the guy is located in Sydney, and isn't being helpful in terms of arranging freight.

He basically wants me to do it all.

I was thinking of using Pack & Send.

Anyone know if Pack & Send is any good?

Cheers

When I used pack and send to send you the wing it was very reasonable,For the size of it, I thought. If the seller can box them up for you it will work out a bit cheaper...
I reckon aust post is the best bet and cheapest as long as they weigh less than 20kg-which I'm sure they do!
I sent a 16 inch wheel and tyre to QLD for around the $20 mark with Aust Post.

Thanks for that!

They're quoting $55 for four 15" rims & tyres from Sydney to Adelaide - Sounds pretty good!

Do you know if they're good in terms of not damaging stuff, etc?

Lazy bugger won't even box them up for me "too busy at work, blah blah..."

Anyone would think he's doing me some massive favour by taking my cash!

i got a quote for transport from pack and send on a bonnet last week......over 3000 bucks!!! i laughed and hung up. I used northline freight 132.00.

3000 dollars!! Did you tell them it was still attatched to a car or what?? That's ridiculous!!!
As for Aust Post and damage it's luck off the draw really, but in my experience with them I have never had any problems or complaints....

+1 for e-go,

shipping depot - depot is very well priced. though i will mention you will want to package things properly.

Australia Post!

will be under 20 bucks per wheel.

ive sent plenty of sets of tarmacs and OZ chronos (17") interstate to QLD, perth and NSW from here and never had any issues.

To be honest if it was me and he cbf packaging them I'd tell him I cbf buying them and to go fornicate with himself.

Aus post was good that's how i recieved my tarmacs and was more then happy with the service...was alittle longer then first thought but that was because they came from tassie to qld. $35 a wheel registered mail from memory
