does anyone have any more info on this? i have searched around an cant really find any more info on it.

i know Aldo has done it, VR401 have you done it?

Craig.

My car has many blue blue wires, maybe transplant some blue wires from a vr4 into the rvr!
Come have a beer!

Found my password...Graig the blue wire you're talking about is the wire on the
pressure control solenoid...A 4.7 ohm resistor will reduce the 5v power going to
the A & B solenoids to 2.3v...This makes it a harder gear change at slow speed.
The TCU senses the tps position & engine revs & varies the voltage from 0 to 5v
to the A & B solenoids acordingly..WOT @ 6.5k gear change = 0v
Slower speed gear changes will be between the 0 & 5v < being the mildest change.
But I don't advise you to play with this with a stock box. Just explaining it to you.
Cheers !

Hah, I was only talking to VR401 on the phone the other day regarding this, we're in the process of trying to find a way to control the voltages to suit the drivers needs. It's one of the mods I will do.

He also has another mod you can do in the valve body housing to increase line pressure from 130-ish to 154 as the standard pressure..

I'm slowly learning more on how to do this stuff
