The bosch book only shows the 4 wire sensors for vr4. If you have an early j-spec like me and have a single wire sensor there no exact listing.
#Universal single wire that fits: 0 258 986 501 (-36y). I got one for $76 from a local Odins. just cut off old sensor and crimp the wire on and your away.
#A direct fit for SOHC 4g63 Galant is quite possibly the same thread and plug as vr4?
0258 002 053.
$110 from supercheap plus freight, order in. Repco wanted $176, have in stock at some stores.
I asked Bosch tech support if a heated sensor (4wire) will die much quicker if just used as a single wire and not heated, than a normal unheated single wire sensor would. The answer was yes.
So best not to use a 4 wire unheated. Plus they cost more anyway.
Ill put this part number up later.
