Hey guys just introducing myself! I bought an evo1 last week off Hiran who's on this forum so you probably know the car, if not then it's a genuine evo 1, 2.3litre stroker, eagle rods, c.p forged pistons, evo8 560cc injectors, walbro fuel pump and hks air intake that's all I can think of off the top of my head! Before I bought this car I used to own a BA XR6T which had about 315rwkw and ran an 11.9 @ 119mph, it was a great car but only good for straight line and being auto I got a bit bored of it. Plans for the evo are to get it as roadworthy as possible, just had a hiflow cat fitted yesterday so that's one thing out of the way! Once I've got that out of the way im just gona fix the small things that need fixing like getting the rear drivers side window working, getting the rear wiper working, putting a decent sound system etc. Next I'm completing the evo3 bodykit by adding the rear pods (still no spoiler) and getting a full respray in the original black with a nice gloss. I've always had a thing for the old evos so it's great to finally own one!

Sorry I meant J.E forged pistons. Also has a GT pumps manifold and a big 16g turbo which I've heard is a bit small for the stroker (but gives awesome almost lag free response). I'll be upgrading the turbo later on to a 20g and changing the ecu which is an evo2 computer with mines chip. The car is currently running 16psi (so I've been told...the boost gauge isn't hooked up) what power should it be making as it is now? And what is possible with a bigger turbo and aftermarket ecu and current mods? Sorry for all the questions haha

nice car, sounds like fun. should be interesting to see what kinda hp it has. first thing i would do is get the boost gauge fixed and c what you are really running.

Yeh already had a crack at it today I think the boost gauge is stuffed it was all hooked up right but still doesn't work. Pulled it out n will be buying another one soon n mounting it below the steering wheel rather than the A pillar where it was before as I heard it's illegal to have it there, am I right?
