Brake Booster Question

Quick Question,

Is the GSR and EVO 1/2/3 Brake Booster and Master Cylinder the same?

Got all the bits ready for my twin pot evo caliper upgrade (DBA 402S, QFM HPX 1223, HEL Lines) but wasn't sure if I needed to upgrade the booster or not?

From what I've read, they're the same, but want to check first, thanks

EVO1-3 booster and cylinder are the same, GSR booster and cylinder are different.

done plenty of those upgrades to GSR and never touched the booster on any of them.

yep, they fit, 7-9 has a shared reservior with the clutch though which is shitty

So best is to use an EVO5/6 booster and master?? what size is the master?

evo 5/6 are 1 & 1/16" and yes they are the one to use

So if the booster is the same, I don't need to change anything then? Or will the larger master cylinder make a difference?

a 1" master will give a better pedal, but its not essential by all reports

I have changed to Evo brakes on a GSR master and I had no problems.
