Im not a engineer so how do you tell which is the good fluid for street use but if needed a little bit of hard braking?

Any "fresh" fluid is good for the street and little squirts here and there. I use cheap Valvoline fluid from Supercheap in my gemini rally car without problems, but it gets changed before every event. I use Motul 5.1 in the vr4 and again, change it before every event. I have had the Ferodo DS2500 pads fade before the fluid boiled.

Really really good brake fluid can cost upwards of $200 per 500mls. Would best I think just to adopt Robs way of think and use generic stuff and change it periodically..
