1989 was the changeover year for the facelift E39A's, so if you have a facelift then you infact have twinpots........

Twin piston VR4 Calipers and DBA slotted rotors with braided lines would be a neat setup for a HG GSR?

yer over kill, but the DBA slotted rotors will work fine with the stock calipers on the GSR, best of both worlds.....
