Help Support 4GTuner:

so old. Plus no one knows of its real outcome, i bet that bloke blew it up or it seized, thtas why there arn't any videos to show of its finished result.

Like dont you think, he shows its build and why couldnt he do a finished result video of it running, cos he stuffed up,.

there is one thing that i hate about some people that if there is no proof they already say it's shit or think negatively about the outcome of someones job, dodgy etc, and it might be shit but to me this is a very good vid, especialy since i never really done any engine work except for replacing my lifters this shows me how to put the whole thing back together, and i'm happy with the vid.

and for the old vid, i'm sorry i just haven't seen it on this site!!!

Depressing little person aren't you.
Watch the video again and look closely at the door and the clothes he has on.That video was shot over 3-4 days and edited back later.

Before you shit all over the guy why don't you run over to Dsmtuners and do a search for it over there. It's pretty easy to find the thread on the build.

BTW the little red dots that appear under the words as you type mean that you have not spelled them correctly. Either you can learn how to spell or keep a sharp eye out for them.

sorry about the spelling but to let you know i speak/write english for only 5 years so i still might make some mistakes.

oh and i don't get any red dots!!!!

A very cool video 8) . Obviously the machining, boring, honing, shaving, polishing etc has already been done, so too the installation of the welsch plugs, oil squirters and balance shaft eliminator kit before they started filming. Not sure if he set the rings at the correct angles to eachother as I find it a bit fiddly to do and take my time getting them set right  Still, most of the build is there captured over a couple or so days on camera 8)

also the head was assembled ready to go which saves about a days work for a first timer, and i believe that it is a 7 bolt or 2g? AFAIK we don't have crank cradles like that on the 1G 6bolt vr4 motor

well 'm glad i'm not the only one that thinks this is a good vid, without critisizing people for what they do:)

he still doesnt plastigauge the mains or big ends in that vid, but he did do it off camera.

its all in his thread on dsmtuners ;)

It aint my or any other persons job to see the follow up of that video. If he wants people to know how it goes,l well he should have made a 2nd video showing the finished result. I ain't gonna waste my time searching his stuff that failed to do his job properly and show the result on youtube.

are you an idiot or something? the proof has been given, it is merely a demonstrational video for those that have no idea and want to give it a go for themselves, if you don't have anything constructive to say don't say it

that has to be one of the dumbest replies I've read for ages...

yes it isn't your job to search for information, yes it isn't your job or anyone else's to learn what is actually going on (regards to this video)

but if you don't, well you don't know the whole story do you? so you just become another uninformed person making assumptions about something you haven't researched?

you mention its HIS job to post a final video, well it wasn't his job to post the original video in the first place, he took his time out to make and edit it up for peoples viewing pleasure.

this video was from his thread on the other forum we mentioned, its out of context on youtube, the results are in HIS thread about HIS car...

if you don't "waste your time" why are you even on a forum asking questions, researching information? and blaming other people for not spoon feeding you results?

even though this probably sounds like an attack on you, i just get frustrated with people who are too bloody lazy to type three words into a search engine and then flame others for not giving them click links to everything they cant be bothered looking up them selves.

should probably lay off the beer a bit ;)

The rings move around when the engine runs anyway. Not to be an ass.
